Just Kick It by Mark St. Amant
One method of characterzation is actions. Mark is the main character in the book and hes a kicker on the Roxbury Panthers. His main action is when he was when he was trying out for kicker and he slipped when he tried to kick. Another method of characterzation is speech. The main thing I think about what I read is him talking to Reggie. Reggie and Mark talk about kicking and how to kick it and about games. Also Mark talked to the coaches about kicking too.
